Seksanya Rasa Sayang

Aku selalu tunggu kau datang cari aku,
Tapi aku cuma jumpa kau dalam mimpi aku,
Kau datang senyum pada aku,
Tinggalkan ragu aku apa agaknya rasa kau pada aku,
Tinggalkan bekas dalam hati aku,
Sampai bila aku tak tahu,
Yang pasti aku masih sayang kamu,
Akan tetap menjaga kamu,
Dari jauh tetap jaga kamu..

Dont give up until you do it

I've been in the marketing and branding position for a past few years. I started with beauty industry and yes, I still in there. I realized that, this is my passion and I love to be in this industry.

The journey is unbelievable because almost the rest of my life, I heard the negative thought about this industry and the saddest thing is some people said it is not suitable for me just because of my appearance. After all, what other people think about you, it just a stepping stone for you to prove that you can do it. People will just say what they want to say but they're not a\understand you better than yourself.

One day, when I clean up my bedroom I found an old notebook and there a lot of writing in there. It's all about myself and my journey of what I've been through and where will I go in future.

A few thing that I wrote in there is about what will I do after I graduate from business school. Firstly, I want to work in the beauty industry (which I'm already in and yet, still). This industry is my main passion and I think I can be the best in this area. For me, this industry is all about creativity, interaction with people and the idea to see beauty of other person.

Secondly, if I'm not in the beauty industry, I would go for publication industry. The last choice could be the advertising industry. Why advertising as one of my  passion is because it is full of energy on creative ideas by the way it generate advert into total change to other's people thinking. How beauty it is right?

When we have ability to touch others life with how we see things, how we talk, and how we live our life. The beauty of this feeling is precious.

Today, I realize that I already reach one of my dreams and I'm still make it live into reality.

House and Building: Retro Interior

When we talk about Retro Interior design styles, most people usually think about the sleek, slim, streamlined styling and bright candy colours from the 50's. However when the time past by, this look evolved out of and replaced the overstuffed substantial look of the 1940's where most of us today called "vintage design". But for me, I still want to differentiate between retro and vintage in different category because retro is more like hipster style and vintage is more to shabby looks

Bright, sharp and brash colours are great with Retro Interior

When to start decorating with retro stlye, what you need to do is look at your colour palette. Most of retro style can carry bright, sharp and brash colours. Be it Aqua, Hot Pink, Candy Apple Red, Mint Green, etc. The most important is the wallpaper should be geometric pattern softened by flowing lines or rounded curves with various colours scheme. Then, the furniture or decoration most in shiny vinyls and molded plastic and accented with shinier chrome edging. Some of the design also use neon colours to create boldness to a new level. For instance, if you want to explore a contrasting colour scheme, you could choose a aqua and then add a shiny lipstick red together. But remember to make one colour to be the predominant colour.

Do look for solid craftsmanship

Dont be to worry about choosing the right stuff for your retro decor. Do look for solid craftsmanship. Retro furniture is characterized  in general by smooth, curvy lines and use of a variety of fabrics and materials fiberglass, formica and lightweight aluminium. However wood elements also a good choice for soften the setting.

Retro Design fabric

Some of use not really brave to have a full look of retro as its always shows as bright colours. So, what you can do is to decorate your room with retro design fabric for cushion, curtain or bedsheet to have a retro feeling. Retro fabric usually comes in geometric and contrast colours and pattern which really match with plain wallpaper.

Use retro pattern to complete the look

If you cant find any furniture that look "retro" to you, you may use sleek modern furniture and add cool pattern fabric  that reflect the hipster and retro style. This could be easy to make and save up more money ;). You can just buy any simple item from Ikea and then play with some colur and pattern.

Retro decoration is not shabby but it is more to sleek

The final touch of your retro interior should be the decoration item that may complete the look. Try to find a cool geometric, colourful pattern and sleek design. Its not to be so rustic and vintage, but it must have a bold statement in the design itself.

~Have fun with your retro-hipster room and voila !!!~

DIY Project: What U Can Do With Used Jar

I bet that every mom always had a problem when it comes to recycling. As I remember, my mom just re-using plastic container, plastic bag or any shape of glass jar to keep coffee, tea and even to store fish in freezer. Penat-penat Jogging Tapi Tak Kurus Jugak?

  2. Most probably semasa sessi jogging, anda tidak membakar lemak tetapi glycogen! Apa tu?

Ok badan kita mempunyai dua sumber tenaga: glycogen & lemak. Sebagai pengumpamaan, andaikan:
  • glycogen adalah wang tunai (badan boleh menyimpan lebih-kurang 2000 calori at one time)
  • lemak sebagai duit simpanan bank.
  • makanan adalah sumber wang tunai.
...sebelum badan menyentuh duit simpanan (lemak) semasa cardio (seperti jogging), badan perlu menghabiskan wang tunai terlebih dahulu...
Sebelum badan menyentuh duit simpanan (lemak) semasa cardio (seperti jogging), badan Yanti perlu menghabiskan wang tunai terlebih dahulu . Ketika itu, badan akan membakar lemak!

Jadi camane nak bakar lemak badan?

  1. One way adalah dengan memanjangkan sessi cardio (tanpa minuman sukan) so that at some point bekalan glycogen habis dan badan bermula membakar lemak. Tetapi ini agak memenatkan.

Hmmm….I hope all this makes sense.

Bolehkah makan/minum selepas jogging?

Air mineral is no problem tetapi, kalau boleh, elakkan makanan untuk 30 minit.
Also, take it easy on the food…..you dah penat-penat berlatih so best kalau you stick to a light and balanced meal ? Simple carbs are ok to replenish your energy quickly. Jangan ikut nafsu ;)
